Air Sampling and Monitoring
MMTS can identify contaminates by air sampling and monitoring using Atmospheric Monitoring for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) through the use of a TO-15 canister.
TO-15 analysis as written by the EPA refers to a specific 63 compound list of regulated compounds. This list was developed to support the Clean Air Act. In addition, a library search was conducted to determine if there were any additional compounds in the air not related to this specific list of 63. This is a highly sensitive testing identifying compounds and light hydrocarbons down to the PPB (parts per billion)
Laboratory results will be looking for signs of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) through the use of a TO-15 canister or light hydrocarbons relating to the specific environmental loss for the purpose of defining that all levels are within permissible exposure limits (PEL’s) based on EPA/NIOSH standards.
